About

Where Did We Come From?

Financially Savvy Futures was birthed from multiple conversations with 20 and 30 year old’s about how to pay for education, how they paid for it, and the mistakes made along the way. FSF is here to inform people from the errors of our own experiences, in the hopes that future generations will not come into the equivalent of a mortgage payment without even owning a house. We hope to reach individuals who are pondering how to pay for education, be that trade schools or colleges, and their parents. My friends and I did not fully understanding the financial aid forms we signed, and realizing the huge drain years later is not the way to learn. Many parents are equally confused about how to pay for education, and are often learning at the same time as their children. This is not a recipe for informed decision-making.
